It has been a few days since I have had anything worthwhile to post about. I have been working on photos, and coming up with possible titles for the book.
Yesterday I went to where I though a copper smelter was located. Unfortunately I had the wrong location. The detective work continues. I hate getting a location wrong, and it kind of took the wind out of my sails so to speak.
I was supposed to go out on an urbex today, but it is very foggy and soggy outside and today was not supposed to be a solo urbex. However I got flaked out on again with nary a phone call. I think just about anyone would rate at very least a telephone call.
I suppose it is just as well. The weather does not support an urbex and I feel like staying put today.
Most of my recent urbexes have been solo. There is nobody close to me that I hang out with that wants to go.
I have some major road trips coming up with many opportunities to go exploring. One trip will take me into heretofore unexplored territory for me. I'm pretty excited about hitting the road for a while. I only wish it was for longer than a week and a half.
If this trip turns out to be a success, it may become a yearly endeavor to different places. Perhaps Tennessee or Nebraska next year.
